Biography
Morgan Wong Wing-fat(b. 1984, Hong Kong) is an artist currently based in Beijing. He is working for Beijing Commune in 798 Art District, Beijing, China as Press Co-ordinator. Also, he has just finished his artist in residency in Sapporo, Japan. Artworks from Morgan Wong have been shortlisted in HK Contemporary Art Biennial 2009 and he received Silver Award in 13th ifva(Single Screen based Interactive Media Category, the Hong Kong Independent Film & Video Awards) in 2008. Morgan Wong’s works have been exhibited in museum and art spaces in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea, including Hong Kong Museum of Art. Also, his artworks have been in public collection like Moerenuma Park, Japan. Morgan Wong has just finished his second solo exhibition at OYOYO Art Center in Sapporo, Japan while his first solo exhibition was held at Para/site Central at Hanart TZ Gallery in early 2009. Morgan Wong has finished his Bachelor of Arts (HON) in Creative Media from City University of Hong Kong in 2007.
